Step 1 - Documentation Needed

Those who work in Mar Vista are stakeholders and will receive a ballot in the Zone of employment. Your driver's license or ID card (DL/ID) will verify your identification and age, but an additional document will be required.

Photo ID & Proof of Age

Photo ID such as a driver's license, state ID, or passport is needed to provide proof of identity and age. If you do not have these, you may use a picture ID with your name (e.g., work, school, credit card) on it for identification and a birth certificate for proof of age. DL, ID, or passport number may be redacted.

Proof of Employment

EXAMPLES: pay check or stub, work permit, Form W-2, Form 1099, staff roster from workplace, letter from employer on business letterhead verifying employment, project/job contract, or service agreement. Need more examples? Click here.

Step 2 - copy, scan, or take photo

Scan, copy, or take a picture of your supporting documents (including DL/ID) to mail, email, fax, or upload via Voter Portal to verify stakeholder status. AFTER May 10, you will receive a ballot that will be specific to the Zone in which you qualify. Don't know what Zone you will vote? Visit MarVista.org/zone for a boundary map or visit the interactive map.

Step 3 - submit

You're almost done! Now you just need to submit your documentation with your application. There are a few ways from which you may choose.
